Frequently Asked Question
Please allow up to 12 weeks for your photographs to be edited and delivered. Often it’s much sooner, but during the busy wedding season things can take a little longer. I always want to create something I’m truly proud of, so I never compromise on quality just to deliver the gallery faster!
For a full-day wedding, I usually deliver 500+ images - often way more. The exact number can vary depending on your day, the schedule, lighting, and weather.
I’m really intentional with what I deliver - this isn’t about overwhelming you with hundreds of photos. Every image is chosen with purpose, so nothing feels like it’s there just to fill space.
For family portraits, I’ll guide everyone so it’s relaxed and organised.
For couples, I give you fun prompts and include lots of movement, so your photos feel natural, fluid, and fun!! It's MY JOB to find the best angles, so please don't worry about how you look & focus on how you FEEL in the moment with your partner by your side celebrating LOVE.
Pinterest Girlies: If you have specific inspiration or poses you love, it’s worth practicing them before your wedding day - whether it’s a prep shot, bridesmaids, or couple portraits. This helps you see what works and what doesn’t, so you can feel confident and at ease on the day!! :)
Absolutely!
While my style is cinematic, you will still receive all the traditional family and group shots you want. The images you see online show the more cinematic side of my work, but I always make sure to include those classic photos that families love and cherish!!
I’m Derby-based, but I cover weddings across most of the UK, including Scotland and Wales. I’m also happy to travel abroad for destination weddings - PLEASE, take me somewhere sunny! :)
I can provide a personalised quote for travel upon request, so you know exactly what to expect.
I would recommend a second shooter if:
• you’re expecting more than 100 people
• you want detailed groom & bridal prep captured (groom getting ready at a different location, flat lay, first look with parents, extra moments happening)
• you want lots of candids of guests (guest arrival, drinks reception, dance floor)
• you want different angles during the ceremony
I would NOT recommend a second shooter if:
• you’re considering a videographer/content creator (can get really crowded, especially during prep, ceremony, confetti, and couple portraits - might feel overwhelming with multiple cameras)
• you’re not bothered about too many candids
• you have less than 100 guests
• you want to have more intimate & relaxed day
However, it's completely up to YOU! and what YOU want on your wedding day!! :)
I’ve never missed a wedding, but in the very unlikely event that I couldn’t be there, I would do my best to find a trusted photographer with a similar style to capture your day. If that isn’t possible, any payments you’ve made would be fully refunded.
Yes! I have both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance, so you can have peace of mind on your wedding day.
